*Old 1970's Funny Car Body Found*

This may have been
one of Don Gays old
Firebird bodies from
the early 70's
We have decided to go with the one and only JUNGLE JIM paint scheme
for our body.
We don't care if he only ran Camaro's, it's close enough for us.  
Well Here it is the Jungle Jim funny car finished.

The JUNGLE JIM blue metalflake is dry and now the body awaits
the swinging Jim along the side with flaming hair. Check back soon for updates
as the graphics and lettering appear.

New Discovery
On our last trip to Starbirds we discovered a
picture of Tom Scullys Gray Ghost Funny car.
This paint job is what we saw under the blue
and yellow paint of our Funny Car Body. When
sanding on the car I saw this very weird
rainbow of colors and did not understand the
patterns until I saw this pic. It made complete
since. What I saw as a snake on the tops of the
fenders was this pattern. I have no way of
knowing for sure, but I feel this is the body I
have painted as Jungle Jim. I am doing
research know stay tuned for updates.
